"Initially, everything Jennifer did was an exercise in pleasing as many parties as possible. She had close to little faith in herself, and was constantly plagued by insecurity. This affected the control she had over her gift: invisibility became her literal retreat from the world, as she would start to disappear every time she could not handle her emotions.

The Pack (and, by extension, the conspiracies Jen became a part of) became a stabilizing factor in Jen’s life. Being a Hunter taught her how to believe in herself, and rise up to the challenges that face all Keepers of the Vigil. She is an incredibly stable individual at present, and knows when she needs to fight and when she needs to retreat."
